Civil Service Board upholds employee removal and schedules multiple appeals
At its September 17, 2024 meeting the City of Fresno Civil Service Board approved minutes, scheduled two public employee discipline appeal hearings (Jan 28–29, 2025 and Feb 25–26, 2025), dismissed or denied several applicant/appeal matters for lack of presence or on motion, approved multiple hearing officer findings, and after an in‑depth closed hearing (ID 24-1070) voted 4-0 to uphold an order of removal and sustain violations including Fresno Municipal Code §3-286(a), 49 C.F.R. §§382.213(b) and 382.215, and FMCSA DOT Prohibited Substances policy. The meeting was adjourned at 4:21 p.m.
