Sister City Committee approves FY2025 budget allocations; sets delegation visit and student exchange timeline

The Corpus Christi Sister City Committee met February 13, 2025 in the Staff Conference Room. Vice Chair Valerie Harbolovic called the meeting to order; six members were present with two joining virtually. There were no public comments. The committee approved the January 24, 2025 minutes and excused absences. Subcommittees reported: Agen delegation visit rescheduled to May 6–11 with discounted hotel rates arranged; Student Exchange application deadline extended to February 25 with interviews to be scheduled in March. Staff and members will follow up on meals, transportation, media outreach, and reception logistics. The committee approved FY2025 budget allocations (including recommended amounts for Student Exchange and Agen) and funding for Sister City International dues and Yokosuka summit registration.
