Case # 68-2026
A request by Crockett Engineering (agent), on behalf of Lake Broadway Townhomes, LLC, and 2101 Burlington Street, LLC (owners), for approval of a site-specific PD plan & new Statement of Intent (SOI) to be known as, "Lake Broadway PD Plan." The 2.27-acre subject site is located directly southeast of the intersection of Gary Street and Pershing Road, and is currently zoned PD (Planned District). The proposed SOI and PD Plan establishes a development plan for the parcel, inclusive of 13 dwelling units developed in townhouse style and an additional office building.
Case # 70-2026
A request by Elena Sass (owner) seeking approval to allow 1707 Nelwood Drive to be used as a short-term rental for a maximum of six transient guests and up to 210-nights annually pursuant to Sec. 29-3.3(vv) and Sec. 29-6.4(m)(2) of the Unified Development Code. The subject dwelling sought for STR operations is the western half of an existing duplex that is addressed 1705 & 1707 Nelwood Drive. The 0.46-acre subject site is located on the west side of Nelwood Drive, approximately 105 feet north of its intersection with Quail Drive.
Case # 74-20226
A request by the City of Columbia to amend Sections 29-1.11 [Definitions] and 29-3.2 [Permitted Use Table] of Chapter 29 of the City Code (Unified Development Code) pertaining to the regulation of data centers. The amendments propose revisions to the definitions section of the code to include a definition of the term “data center”, and revisions to the permitted use table indicating what zoning districts allow data centers. Defining this use and establishing where it may be pursued is the first step in regulating data centers as a use. Use-specific standards and specific conditional use permit criteria for data centers are necessary as well and will be developed at a later date.
NEXT MEETING DATE - March 5, 2026 @ 7 pm (tentative)
