City Council meeting summary

Philadelphia City Council met in Room 400 with a quorum present and approved the journal. Council introduced and referred numerous bills and resolutions, suspended rules to consider several measures, placed many ordinances on next week’s Second Reading calendar (including multiple building code and zoning changes), and passed a slate of bills and resolutions on Second Reading and Final Passage covering zoning, university master plan amendments, park and public-safety matters, and civic recognitions.
