Committee (Andrea Bough, Quinton Lucas, Crispin Rea, Darrell Curls, Wes Rogers) met Feb 3, 2026. The committee advanced multiple finance and administrative items including authorization of $658,000 financing for municipal golf equipment; creation of the City Hall Centennial Fund (Fund No. 6435); a contract amendment with the Economic Development Corporation to continue administering the ProspectUs Plan with a $166,224 fund transfer; termination of multiple phases of the Universal Floodwater Detention TIF plan and reallocation of approximately $5.5 million to capital projects; amendments to guarantee the public Right to Counsel annual report; overhaul of economic development incentive policies (committee substitute); and updates to Municipal Court code. Several items were held for future committee dates. The agenda allowed for a possible closed session on specified legal, real estate, personnel, labor, bidding, audit, and sealed-bid matters.
