Plan Commission meeting summary

The Plan Commission met May 13, 2026 and approved several land-use items including a fence enclosure at Aurora Doors and Windows (1475 Wheeling Road), special-use permits for multiple recreation/instruction facilities (Iron Fist Boxing and Fitness; Marigym; Children’s Success Limited), a special use for Orsini Animal Hospital (751 N. Milwaukee Avenue), and an amendment to the Forest View Mixed-Use PUD (350 E. Dundee Road). Most approvals were unanimous and included conditions such as fire-department access, limits on certain services or activities, building permits, and required sign permits.
