Parks, Recreation and Forestry Board approves veterans park use and $397 per-tree assessment for Spring 2026 street tree program; reviews 2026 pool program

At the City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry Board meeting on February 16, 2026 (Council Chambers, City Hall), six members were present and two were absent. The board approved the December minutes; approved a special use request from the Waukesha Allied Veterans Council for Memorial Day and Veterans Day events at Veterans and Cutler Parks; opened the 2026 Public Street Tree Planting Program public hearing and closed the Spring 2025 hearing; recommended a $397.00 per-tree assessment for the Spring 2026 Public Street Tree Planting Program; and reviewed the preliminary 2026 Pool Program (no action taken).
