Council approves budget, utility rate increases

The City Council adopted Sunnyvale’s FY 2025/26 budget and fee schedule, and approved utility rate increases of 6% for water, 7% for wastewater, and 4% for solid waste. It also authorized $811,845 in transportation funding for the Evelyn Avenue Multi-Use Path and approved a $4.21 million traffic signal maintenance contract.
