Board to consider a motion awarding six ((6) hotel/motel grants to the Westmont Park District totaling $15,975. The six grants consist of the following: American Legion Memorial Day Parade (grant request: $750) 4th of July Celebration (grant request: $2,725) Performing Arts Musical (grant request: $2,500) Holly Days (grant request: $5,000) Haunted Forest (grant request: $2,500) Concerts in the Park (grant request: $2,500) Background of Subject Matter Each of these events draw attendees not only from the local community, but from the local region as well. Board to consider an ordinance increasing the number of available Class 26 liquor licenses by one (1) for Jennifer Cafferty d/b/a 1111 Elm Workshop and Store, 17 North Cass Avenue, Westmont, Illinois. Background of Subject Matter 1111 Elm Workshop and Store is seeking a Class 26 liquor license to allow for sales of beer and wine to customers attending classes and workshops at its arts & crafts studio. A background review was completed on the sole owner of the business, Jennifer Cafferty. The review did not disclose any reason to deny this increase or to deny the issuance of a Class 26 license. Recommendation Approve

Board to consider an ordinance approving the 2026 Permit Holiday Program involving the temporary waiver of $100.00 online building permit application fees for certain improvement projects in September and October 2026. Background of Subject Matter The Village Board directed the Community Development Department to investigate potential measures to ease the financial burden on property owners and occupants related to minor property improvement projects. Village staff has proposed a pilot program called the 2026 Permit Holiday Program. This Program involves the automatic waiver of the $100.00 online building permit application fee associated with certain improvement projects, such as window and door replacements, roof replacements, tank water heater installation, A/C system installation, and furnace installation. This Program only applies to eligible online permit applications submitted between September 1, 2026, and October 31, 2026. This Program was presented to the Community Development Committee on 4/30/26, and the Committee recommended moving forward with this pilot program. Recommendation This item was not formally budgeted; however, the potential loss of revenue can be accommodated within current projected expenditures. | attachments=2
