PARKS VOLUNTEER PROGRAM UPDATE
Parks Superintendent James Castro will present an update on the Parks Volunteer Program including Park-A-Month, ongoing volunteer projects, the Rural Cemetery, and the vision of the program.
PARKS MAINTENANCE UPDATES & INSIGHTS
Parks Superintendent James Castro will present information about the Parks Maintenance Section of Transportation and Public Works, including updates and insights since the 2025 reorganization of the Recreation and Parks Department.
COUNCIL POLICY 000-75: CITY ASSET NAMING AND RENAMING POLICY
Staff from the City Manager’s Office will provide information on the adopted City Asset Naming & Renaming Policy (Council Policy 000-75) and the BPR’s role in reviewing and recommending applications to name or rename City Facilities acquired, operated, and maintained by the Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks Department. The Board may discuss this item and provide direction to staff.
