Planning Commission approves additions and garage replacement at 443 N. Clinton Street; CEQA exemption

The City of Orange Planning Commission met November 3, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber (300 E. Chapman Avenue). Present: Leslie, Martinez, Vazquez, Tucker, McCormack, and Vejar. Absent: Maldonado. The Commission approved minutes from prior meetings and adopted Resolution No. 12-25 approving ENT No. 25-0051 to add 1,351 sq ft (545 sq ft first-floor addition and 806 sq ft second story), replace the attached garage (701 sq ft with new 11-foot-high door), and add a 270 sq ft below-grade storage area at 443 N. Clinton Street, and found the project exempt from CEQA (State CEQA Guidelines §15303). The motion passed with five ayes, one no (McCormack). The meeting adjourned at 5:59 p.m.; next regular meeting scheduled November 17, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
