On March 13, 2026 the New York City Council Committee on Fire and Emergency Management held oversight hearings on the Preliminary Budget for FY2027, the Preliminary Capital Plan for FY2027–2030, and the Fiscal 2026 Preliminary Mayor’s Management Report; roll call noted Chair Joann Ariola and six members present, three absent; the oversight was held and filed and attachments from the New York City Fire Department and New York City Emergency Management Department were entered into the record.
