Cultural Council meeting (Commerce City) — August 9, 2022: ratified Music in the Park payments and set annual retreat date

The Commerce City Cultural Council met August 9, 2022. Members approved the July 12, 2022 minutes, received financial and grant updates, and reviewed committee reports. The Council ratified payments for staging, bands, a cooler, booth materials and raffle prizes for 2022 Music in the Park, approved up to $45 for missed 2021 food truck payments, and noted Music in the Park #2 was rescheduled for August 16, 2022. Updates were provided on the Fall Art Exhibition, Student Art Show, Commerce City Eats (Chair Ramirez to meet with the Chamber of Commerce to explore a partnership), and social media/marketing. The Council approved an annual retreat date of October 22, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. and adjourned at 6:52 p.m.
