Board approves grants and tax hearing

The Board approved multiple funding agreements and contracts, including a $904,677 CAL FIRE grant, a $733,761 public health grant, and an $800,000 funding agreement for Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve improvements. It also took action on a proposed one percent transactions and use tax measure, but no action was taken on that item after the hearing.
