Housing & Redevelopment Authority meeting summary
The HRA adopted a resolution to acquire the property at 259 University Avenue W and unanimously approved establishment of the Galtier Plaza Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District, an amendment to the Minnesota Event TIF Plan, an HRA budget amendment, and execution of related TIF development documents including a TIF note and a forgivable TIF loan. Staff presentations were received and filed for Inspiring Communities (1087 Ross Avenue), Emergency Rental Assistance Program updates, and an introduction to reserving funds for Saint Paul projects applying to the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. The board recessed during a City Council public hearing and reconvened to take final action. The next HRA meeting is scheduled for June 24, 2026.
