Planning Commission approves Vintage Acres land use and PUD rezoning; adopts LDC Chapter 9 updates

At the September 25, 2025 Port Orange Planning Commission meeting the board approved minutes, a large-scale comprehensive plan amendment and PUD rezoning for the Vintage Acres subdivision (113 single-family lots) with an amended MDA addressing airport flight path acknowledgement and a stormwater maintenance bond, and unanimously adopted LDC Chapter 9 text amendments updating water-dependent and residential dock standards. Public comment raised flooding, stormwater, water pollution, drainage, and historical artifact concerns; staff will review amended MDA language before City Council consideration.
