Standing Committees meeting — City of Pittsburgh, May 6, 2026: multiple resolutions affirmed; several items held for further action

Nine Council members present. Public comment taken. Finance committee approved an amendment to the City’s 2026 General Obligation Bond reimbursement resolution and approved a settlement warrant. Invoices and P‑card report were approved. Public Safety committee amended and approved a police violent‑crime data reporting resolution. Public Works approved supplemental contract increases and multiple construction agreements (including Sylvan Avenue multimodal path and Smithfield Street reconstruction). Land use, parks, sewer, and land‑bank actions were recommended or held as noted. Several matters were held for future committee action or cablecast public hearing. A motion was approved to post the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report to the agenda.
