Committee of the Whole recessed hearings on FY2027 budgets, tax measures, and code amendments

Council held public hearings on the FY2027 Operating Budget, FY2027 Capital Budget, a six-year Capital Program (2027–2032), multiple tax proposals (hotel room rental tax, rideshare use tax authorization for the School District Board, retail delivery tax, realty use tax clarification regarding cell towers), and code amendments (Zoning Board fees, Air Management Code fee changes, asbestos fees). All items were recessed for continued hearing. Sixteen councilmembers were present; Councilmember O'Neill was absent.
