City of Orange Council adopts Santiago Creek Strategic Plan; approves audits, public-safety purchases, utility design amendment, and local service actions
At its February 24, 2026 meeting the Orange City Council adopted the Santiago Creek Strategic Plan and directed the Santiago Creek Commission to pursue grants and community engagement. The Council approved multiple consent items including a two-year audit services agreement, a design amendment for Well 29, grant appropriations for library programming and Proposition 69 funding for forensic equipment, increases to EMS supply purchase orders, and the transfer of K‑9 Nash to Officer Logan Shryock. Council also directed staff to restore Old Towne sidewalk steam cleaning within the City Manager’s signing authority and to return with revised driveway/parking standards.
