Committee approves termination recommendation for Briggs Urban Village agreement and adopts Hearing Examiner RFQ process; discusses 2026 work plans

Special meeting of the Olympia Land Use & Environment Committee on December 18, 2025 (4:00–6:02 PM, Online and Room 112). Chair Dani Madrone and Committee members Jim Cooper and Robert Vanderpool were present. The committee approved the agenda and October 23, 2025 minutes; voted unanimously to approve a recommendation to terminate the Briggs Urban Village Development Agreement and forward that recommendation to the full City Council; and approved the proposed Hearing Examiner Request for Qualifications process. Staff led discussions on the Community Planning & Economic Development and committee 2026 work plans. Public comment was received.
