Oakland Redevelopment Successor Agency/City Council Special Concurrent Meeting — Nov 4, 2025 (Minutes)
The City Council convened at 9:00 AM with Councilmember Janani Ramachandran presiding. The Consent Calendar was approved. Council renewed local emergency declarations (HIV/AIDS, medical cannabis access, homelessness), adopted multiple housing Homekey+ funding resolutions, approved transportation actions including MTC funding application and establishment of a Right of Way Repair Fund, authorized a lease for a US&R warehouse at the Port of Oakland, approved grants and contracts (including OPD DNA backlog grant, Telestaff services, Corridor Safety Ambassador grants), authorized settlements (George Segura $125,000; Saba Grocers Initiative $500,000), and received an informational report on Caltrans’ Vision 980 and I-580 truck access studies. The 27th Street Complete Streets construction award was withdrawn and rescheduled to 12/2/2025. Meeting adjourned at 12:55 PM.
