Public Works committee approves street work contracts

The committee advanced three contracts and one safety project, including up to $750,000 each for replacement street-sweeper brooms and brushes, a $2.8 million asphalt and concrete disposal contract, and a $2,494,685.86 safety project on 14th Street. It also withdrew and rescheduled the Broadway Streetscape Improvements contract award to July 14.
