Special Finance & Management Committee — April 21, 2026 meeting minutes

Committee convened at 9:00 AM with Chair Janani Ramachandran and members Charlene Wang, Rowena Brown, and Zac Unger present. The committee accepted the schedule of outstanding items; approved initiation of the FY 2026-27 Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District (LLAD) process and forwarded it to the May 5, 2026 City Council consent calendar; and received and filed multiple informational reports from the Budget Advisory Commission (including a proposed $40 million parcel tax measure and recommendations on RETT treatment and the FY 2025-27 budget process), a salary survey for positions earning under $25/hour, and a Special Revenue Collection Project update. Meeting adjourned at 10:44 AM.
