Council Approves Helmo Station Park Plans

The City Council approved final plans and a $1,748,086.68 budget for Helmo Station Park on a 4-0 vote; construction is expected to begin later in 2026. The council also approved a $59,632 fire vehicle purchase, fire policies, a tax-increment financing administrative-cost transfer, and bid-package work for the police expansion and City Hall remodel.
