Housing, technology, and campus plans advance

The Village Board approved a $1 million property purchase and development agreement to support 36 units of permanent supportive housing at 1106 Madison Street, while also advancing schematic design work for the municipal campus and police department. It also adopted a new zoning rule and special-use permit for a body modification business on North Avenue, approved a one-year AI chatbot and communications contract at up to $179,489.65 annually, and moved forward with a $234,335 financial software upgrade.
