New York City Council Committee on Land Use Approves Multiple Rezoning Applications on November 12, 2025

The Committee on Land Use met on November 12, 2025, at City Hall, chaired by Rafael Salamanca, Jr., with nine members present and two absent. The committee reviewed and approved several zoning map amendments and zoning resolution changes primarily affecting Brooklyn community districts, including rezonings at 58 Nixon Court, 464 Ovington Avenue, 5502 Flatlands Avenue, 699-703 Lexington Avenue, and the Special Atlantic Avenue Mixed Use Plan. Most applications were approved with modifications and referred to the City Planning Commission or approved with companion resolutions.
