Council advances downtown parking exceptions

The City Council unanimously approved the first reading of an ordinance adding exceptions to enforcement in the downtown parking zone. Council also directed staff to form an ad hoc committee on floating vegetation, appointed Wayne Peters to the New Braunfels Utilities Board of Trustees by a 5-1 vote, and approved several advisory-board appointments.
