Council adopts Rule 50 on board elections; approves multiple zoning, appointments, grants and utility actions; one-time water/sewer credit fails

At its April 7, 2026 meeting the Metropolitan Council adopted an amended Rule 50 on elections to boards and commissions, confirmed several appointments, passed a range of zoning and development measures on second reading (including detached ADU allowance), approved a consent agenda of grants, procurement and water/sewer projects, passed an amendment to an iTEDIUM contract, and declined a one-time water/sewer bill credit on third reading.
