Metropolitan Council meeting summary
Council held a regular session with 33 members present. Two nominees (Erica Penley and Annie Klaver) were elected to the Transportation Licensing Commission by acclamation. Several board confirmations were approved; other appointments were deferred or withdrawn. A proposed amendment to Rule 46 failed. The FY2027 budget ordinance and the Capital Improvements Budget passed second reading and were re‑referred to the Budget and Finance Committee (the capital budget also referred to a joint committee and a special meeting).
