Granville‑Havenwoods Advisory Council reviews business and residential license applications; approves dance studio/lounge, holds several items for follow-up
Meeting convened virtually at 9:02 AM with five members present. The council approved the minutes from March 4, 2026. Applications for a group childcare center, a community residential facility, a restaurant, and a childcare conversion were discussed: Marquess Hardy (Inetter's Learning Academy) was approved (one abstention); Satwinder Singh (Spring Circle, LLC), Christina Cunningham (A Nurturing Home Away From Home), and Mary Akande (Authentic Nigerian Food and Catering) were held to the call of the chair pending landlord participation or additional information. Cory Carrigan (Garage Dance Studio and The Cove Jazz & R&B Lounge) was approved for both addresses with conditions related to parking signage and provision of security camera/photos. Follow-up tasks include inviting landlords and collecting voluntary resident testimonials where applicable.
