FPC Testing and Recruiting Committee — minutes approved; recruiting plan filed; rule-change items held
The Fire and Police Commission (FPC) Testing and Recruiting Committee met March 10, 2026 at City Hall, Room 301-A (commenced 4:37 p.m., adjourned 6:02 p.m.). Attendees listed: Bree Spencer (chair), LaNelle Ramey (vice-chair), Ramon Evans, Miriam Horwitz, and Dana World-Patterson; Miriam Horwitz is noted as joining at 4:46 p.m. The committee adopted the resolution approving the January 13, 2026 meeting minutes (FPC212435). A staff communication on the 2026 police officer recruiting and advertising plan (FPC212437) was placed on file. Three communications concerning promotional preference points and proposed amendments to FPC rules involving police aides (FPC212347, FPC212348, FPC212350) were held to the call of the chair. The agenda was amended to add closed-session language related to item #4.
