City of Milwaukee — Fire and Police Commission meeting minutes (April 2, 2026)

The Fire and Police Commission met April 2, 2026, at City Hall, Room 301-B. Five commissioners were present (World-Patterson, Burgos, Ramey, Evans, Fung); four were excused (Horwitz, Spence, Spencer, Snyder). The Commission adopted multiple consent items and eligible lists, approved rule changes to add volunteer promotional preference points and amend rules relating to police aides, held a vehicle pursuit SOP modification to the call of the chair, placed a Milwaukee Police Department communication on file, approved several fire department promotions and reappointment actions, and placed a police reappointment request on file. The meeting adjourned at 6:57 p.m.
