EDC adopts mission statement and brand identity; advances RT-12 streetscape planning and Kartway remediation

The Ledyard Economic Development Commission met on February 3, 2026 (Town Hall Annex, hybrid). Seven commissioners were present; the Town Planner attended. The commission approved the January 6 minutes, adopted the 2023 Strategic Plan mission statement as the official EDC mission statement, and adopted a brand identity draft. Business directory updates and an email-listing/newsletter program were advanced. Commissioners discussed RT-12 streetscape planning and potential LOTCIP funding, and received an update and timeline for remediation of the Kartway blighted property. Resident/business surveys were tabled.
