PZC approves 90-day mylar extension for Long Cove Rd subdivision; tables 36-unit site plan and directs parking text amendment
At its March 12, 2026 regular meeting the Ledyard Planning & Zoning Commission approved a 90-day extension to file mylars for PZ#25-9SUB (939 Long Cove Rd), tabled the site plan review for a proposed 36-unit multi-family building at 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway to April 9, 2026 for further staff review, and directed staff to prepare a text amendment application based on the PZC Parking Subcommittee's proposed zoning changes. The Commission received an update from the Sustainable CT Ad Hoc Committee, discussed low-impact development education, approved the February 12, 2026 minutes, and heard staff reports including ZEO items (goat removal on Pheasant Run, new blight complaints) and planner discussion of consultant work for PA25-1 regulation changes.
