Farmers Market committee reviews 2026 preparations, finances, and enters executive session on vendor contracts

The Ledyard Farmers Market Committee met March 4, 2026 (hybrid). Treasurer reported an available balance of $23,193.22 and will track deposits/expenses on both fiscal- and calendar-year bases. Vendor applications for the 2026 summer market are arriving. The committee approved the February 4, 2026 minutes, agreed not to pursue Venmo, completed purchase of a market mascot (stuffed cows for 'Daisy Mae'), will continue work on market layout and sound-system pricing to accommodate more vendors, and continued planning to purchase a computer, printer, ink and a thumb drive. The committee entered executive session to discuss vendor contracts (entered 5:46 p.m.; exited 7:28 p.m.).
