Lancaster approves major development steps

The City Council advanced the Parkway Village Specific Plan, including a land use change, zoning map amendment for about 435 acres, and certification of the final environmental impact report. Council also approved a $450,000 leadership and strategic advisory contract, accepted several infrastructure improvements and parcel maps, and adopted updates to the Open Space and Conservation Elements.
