Itasca Village Board approves infrastructure and permit actions, hears Ezee Fiber presentation
At the April 21, 2026 Village Board meeting Mayor Pruyn and five trustees were present. The Board approved minutes, multiple engineering task orders and construction contracts (including NPDES permit renewal, SBR channel engineering, Orchard and Maple streetscape, and Rohlwing Road storage tank rehabilitation), adopted a consent agenda with zoning and rate schedule amendments, and approved payment of bills totaling $1,413,289.42. Presentations included Ezee Fiber (residential high‑speed fiber), Robinson Engineering on the Northside Infrastructure Project – Phase 3, and NPDES information. The Ezee Fiber Master Right‑of‑Way License Agreement item was moved to follow the presentation. The Village Administrator reported issues with ComEd related to utility taxes paid by NTT and ongoing negotiations with the Fraternal Order of Police.
