Active Transportation Advisory Committee (Fresno) — Jan 28, 2026: elections, ATAC priorities, ATP/Vision Zero and capital project updates

The committee approved the agenda (as amended) and December minutes, elected Nick Yovino Jr. as Chair and re-elected Sean Zweifler as Vice Chair, and discussed ATAC priorities and vision planning. Staff presented Brown Act guidance, updates on the ATP and Vision Zero Action Plan, the January traffic collision report, and multiple capital project proposals including Fresno Street overlay, Church Avenue Complete Streets, Cesar Chavez grade separation, and MLK Jr. Blvd / Pottle Ave intersection options. Task forces reported on protected bicycle parking and Bike Month 2026; several member concerns were raised about bike-lane obstructions, e-bike usage, and outreach.
