Council refers SEDA back to staff, renews Fresno‑Clovis tourism district, and approves multiple infrastructure and public safety actions
At the December 18, 2025 regular meeting the Fresno City Council: referred the Southeast Development Area (SEDA) Specific Plan and related EIR items back to staff with direction to prepare fiscal and other analyses and pursue a consolidated business‑park alternative; adopted an amended renewal of the Fresno‑Clovis Tourism Business Improvement District; certified environmental review and authorized actions for airport air traffic control improvements; approved a major downtown water/sewer construction contract and related appropriation; approved Police Department technology and air support purchases; adopted several ordinance amendments; and discussed labor negotiations and multiple litigation matters in closed session.
