Disability Advisory Commission convenes; approves minutes, appoints chair/vice chair, reviews Right-of-Way Transition Plan
On September 9, 2025 the City of Fresno Disability Advisory Commission met in person and electronically (Room 2165N). Three commissioners were present. The commission approved the agenda and May 13, 2025 minutes, welcomed new Commissioner Kellie Greiner, appointed Chenier Derrick (Chair) and Frances Reyes Acosta (Vice Chair) for FY25/26, and received a Right-of-Way Transition Plan update covering curb ramps, sidewalks, and Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS). The plan commits to 300 curb ramps per year, 27,000 linear feet of new sidewalk per year, and outlines APS evaluation/installation policy; the plan will go to council in October and the commission requested quarterly APS updates.
