Major actions: annexation and special-tax ordinance for CFD No. 9 (Ordinance 2025-42) adopted; historic designation for 1844 S. Cherry Avenue (Resolution 2025-281) adopted; Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) mitigation fee program materials continued except the ordinance introduction (Bill introduced and laid over); West Area Neighborhoods Specific Plan and FEIR certified and related rezones adopted (Resolutions 2025-283 through 286; Ordinance 2025-45 adopted as amended); Development Permit P21-00989 approved; multiple labor memoranda and salary amendments approved; awards and amendments for transit, airport, landfill gas, and other contracts approved; closed-session actions included withdrawing an unfair labor practice charge, approval to file a lawsuit (defendants to be disclosed upon filing), and approval of an eminent domain settlement with payment of $1,007,500.
