Fort Worth City Council Regular Session (Feb. 10, 2026): Consent approvals, rezoning/resolutions, elections ordinances, public hearings, and zoning actions

Mayor Mattie Parker called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. The Council approved the Consent Agenda on a 11-0 vote, including multiple transportation, equipment/services, economic development, and water/wastewater-related items, as well as nine resolutions of support for 2026 competitive (9%) Housing Tax Credit applications (with district-specific approvals/denials). Key non-consent actions included adopting resolutions related to rezoning initiation and municipal utility district consent, ordering a May 2, 2026 election (general obligation debt program) and a special election (charter amendments), conducting public hearings for a municipal setting designation/treatment prohibitions and a tax abatement reinvestment zone agreement, and approving several zoning dockets (with some items continued or denied).
