Fort Worth City Council Worksession — March 31, 2026

The Fort Worth City Council convened a work session on March 31, 2026, beginning at 9:05 a.m. with Mayor Mattie Parker and a full council present. The City Manager reported organizational updates and recognitions (TPW Smart Weather Sensor SMART 20 Award; Don Guy — Real Estate Council Excellence Award). Staff delivered informal reports on development activity, third‑party building plan review, FIFA World Cup preparations, front/side yard parking enforcement responsibility, financial achievements, fluoride in drinking water, and FY2026 mid‑year PID adjustments. Presentations were given on Dallas Fort Worth International Airport bond/code items, greenspace initiatives, and a property management facility update. Council made several requests for future reports and adjourned at 10:31 a.m.
