CRA Board approves lease actions and funds up to $200,000 for Central City capital improvement master plan

Meeting of the Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency Board on May 19, 2026 at Broward Center for the Performing Arts (Abdo Room). All five commissioners were present. The Board approved minutes from May 5, 2026; authorized a third lease amendment with FPA II, LLC to extend the current office lease to September 30, 2026; approved a new office space lease at 501 NW 7th Avenue; and adopted a resolution appropriating up to $200,000 for capital improvement master planning services with Alta Planning + Design, Inc., including amending the interlocal agreement with the City of Fort Lauderdale to include funding for design and construction to implement the Central City CRA master plan.
