City Council approves BJ's public improvements; provides FY2026–27 budget guidance

At a special budget strategy meeting on April 14, 2026, Forney City Council approved acceptance of public improvements for the BJ's Wholesale Club retail project and provided direction for the FY Oct 1, 2026–Sep 30, 2027 budget, identifying multiple priorities and requests for additional information. A forthcoming action item on a Public Safety Facility was noted.
