Council approves staffing change, lot sale, fee update, and housing grant amendment

At the April 28, 2026 Derby City Council meeting the Council: approved the consent agenda including an Investment Policy update; authorized changing one full‑time Senior Services Administrative Assistant to two part‑time positions; approved sale of Lot 3/Block A in Derby Industrial Park 2nd Addition to Mid Continent Controls, Inc. (MC2) for $1 plus development requirements; adopted a fee resolution update; and approved First Amendments to the Moderate Income Housing (MIH) grant agreement with Kansas Housing Resources Corporation and the cooperative grant agreement with Derby Destination Development, authorizing the City Manager to finalize amendments.
