Finance and Business Committee minutes (Nov 25, 2025): Committee canceled; consent agenda approved for multiple emergency service contracts, shelter leases, funding transfer, and lease amendment
The Finance and Business Committee meeting was canceled and a consent agenda was included. Council approved a series of citywide emergency on-call service contracts (restoration, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, glass, gate/door services) with terms ending 11-30-2028 and individual contract amounts up to $750,000. The Council approved two nominal ($30) lease agreements with Bayaud Works, LLC to operate congregate cold weather shelters (4040 Quebec Street, Council District 8; 375 S. Zuni Street, Council District 7) through 1-01-2027. Council also rescinded $97,500 from City Council districts’ 2025 General Fund appropriations to transfer cash to the City Council Special Revenue Fund, and amended a lease with CMC Qalicb, LLC to add $25,000 (total $365,001), extend the term to 5-31-2026, and move the put/call payment date to 1-01-2026 for a community media center at 2101 Arapahoe Street, Unit 1 (Ball Park District, Council District 9).
