Commerce City Council amends economic development policy, advances multiple land‑use and infrastructure actions, and continues 2026 budget hearing

The Commerce City Council met October 20, 2025 at 6:00 PM in Council Chambers (7887 E 60th Ave) and via Zoom; nine members were present. Major actions included adoption of a revised Economic Development Incentive Policy, direction to study recreational vehicle enforcement, authorization to pursue property interests (including eminent domain) for the East 56th Ave. reconstruction, land‑use approvals and introductions (including a rezoning and a PUD amendment), continuation of the 2026 budget hearing to November 3, 2025, and instruction to the City Attorney to obtain a third‑party investigator on a council complaint. The meeting adjourned at 12:11 AM.
