Council approves Flock camera expansion and multiple budget actions; rezones property and moves on commission matters
On April 6, 2026, Commerce City Council met in Council Chambers (hybrid via Zoom). Major actions included approval of Ordinance 2755 (agreement with Flock Group, Inc. for license-plate recognition cameras, drones and related equipment) and Ordinance 2756 (amend 2026 budget to recognize $608,900 for the Flock expansion) — both passed on second & final reading (each vote: 7–2).
