Columbus City Council approves budget amendments, utility and housing actions; sends two charter amendments to May 5, 2026 ballot
Columbus City Council met March 2, 2026 (5:00 PM) in Council Chambers with nine members present. Council approved an amended General Fund appropriation ordinance, approved a range of consent items (contracts, refunds, appointments), approved multiple technology, banking, utilities and construction expenditures, authorized housing funding and emergency repair contracts, and voted to submit two Proposed Charter Amendments (Community Crisis Response; Community Crisis Response Services) to the special election on May 5, 2026. The meeting adjourned at 6:41 PM.
